Maintaining a regular exercise routine is paramount, regardless of one’s life circumstances, owing to the multitude of benefits associated with consistent physical activity. At the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Orlando and Tampa, Florida, we go beyond the traditional concept of personal training certifications. For nearly two decades, NPTI has been dedicated to providing educational certifications tailored specifically for veterans. Our institute is not only veteran-owned but is also staffed by veterans on a daily basis.

Transitioning from active military duty can often be a challenging process. To facilitate this transition and help veterans reintegrate into civilian life, the National Personal Training Institute has developed a specialized Personal Trainer Certification program exclusively for veterans.

According to data from the United States Department of Labor, the veteran unemployment rate stood at 4% in early 2018. To address this issue and support veterans in their journey to civilian careers, NPTI offers a comprehensive Personal Training Diploma Certification program.

Veterans possess distinct advantages over other aspiring personal trainers. They have already met numerous prerequisites for obtaining this certification during their service, including maintaining rigorous physical fitness standards and demonstrating exceptional work ethic.

The personal training industry demands qualities such as patience and discipline, characteristics that veterans abundantly possess. Completing our rigorous program ensures a pathway to a high-income potential career. However, veterans must meet specific educational requirements before entering the fitness industry.

Veteran Benefits

Veteran Owned Business

Veterans can take advantage of benefits like the Post 9/11 GI Bill, which makes higher education more accessible. According to the US Department of Veteran Affairs, if you have served at least three months on aggregate post 9/11 and remain on active duty or were honorably discharged, you are eligible for a veterans-administered program.

Our 600-Hour Personal Training Certification program is an approved FAFSA program. Veterans who apply and qualify for financial aid may be eligible for Pell grants and loans.

Additionally, NPTI Orlando, Florida offers student housing that qualifies for Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) for all veterans enrolled at our institute, whether they are coming from out of state or an international country.
