Instructor

Aaron Baca is an Army Veteran with over 16 years served and has been working within the health and fitness industry for six (6) years now. He is a graduate of the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). Aaron has received his Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Homeland Security with Honors. Furthermore, Aaron is also Functional Movement Screening (FMS) Level One Certified through FMS, National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and an American Safety and Health Institute Instructor, which includes certifying individuals on CPR/AED.

Aaron’s prior teaching history includes as an Instructor during his military career, while also serving as the Master Fitness and Master Resiliency Instructor for his Battalion. He also worked at Crunch Fitness as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor where Aaron coached and mentored over 200 consumers, while leading individualized workouts incorporating aerobic and anaerobic exercises. Worked with clients on goal settings, assessed fitness levels, monitored progress and eliminated plateaus.

For the last year, he has been employed as the Instructor for NPTI in Tampa, Florida, delivering the Diploma in Personal Training. This is an accredited Higher Education course, which teaches students about the sciences and practical application of a Personal Trainer. His job responsibilities include, planning, developing, organizing, managing, a comprehensive and diverse syllabus of a 600-hour Personal Training Diploma in accordance with the literature/resources designated to cover topic areas such as nutrition, supplementation, bioenergetics, anatomy and physiology, metabolic calculations, biomechanics, Functional Movement Screening, corrective exercise, endocrinology, special populations, and post-rehabilitation, while also ensuring the highest teaching standards are always maintained.
